Damon Braces

Smaller than conventional braces, Damon System braces can be used on patients of all ages and allow for unequaled comfort and versatility. Contrary to metal braces, Damon braces are self-ligating, which places less pressure on teeth. The sliding mechanism on each brace eliminates the need for wires or elastics that often irritate surrounding mouth tissue.

Another attractive feature is that Damon braces are less subject to the accumulation of tartar, translating into fewer visits to the dentist for cleanings. Moreover, the duration of the treatment is generally shorter and a minimum number of adjustments are needed. Since they are more efficient than conventional braces, young patients can often avoid extractions and the need to wear an arch expansion appliance.
